Reviews
We were disappointed by the Federico II, which is in no way a 4* hotel. We booked a room with a balcony in the description, but got put in a standard room with no balcony. There is no coffee, fridge, kettle, or clothes iron in the room. The bathroom had plumbing problems and black mould. The whole room was weirdly dark with bad lighting. The air conditioning turns off when you walk out, so you always come back to a hot and uncomfortable room. The elevator made frightening noises and sounded unsafe, so we used the stairs. None of the staff smiled or showed any interest in our experience, they seemed irritated to be there. As others have commented, the breakfast staff were weird and stood around watching us eating and we felt like we were being monitored. You have to pay €30 if you want to get in the pool. You have to pay €20 PER DAY to park your car at the hotel, even as as a staying guest, and they had the audacity to charge us this fee and then give our car back covered in bird poop, in shocking condition. The location was very good, but otherwise we thought this hotel was a disappointment. We would never stay here again.
Spacious room with large and very confortable bed and an extra couch which was really great, clean and beautifully decorated. Good breakfast.
Location is nice near city center , very clean rooms no coffee and or catels for hot water on the room , out side laundry service take long time, no business center if u need computer to do some work , even though the receptionist did there best to help.
But I had 2 hotel in palermo and was same issue
This is a quiet, nice hotel located not far from the center of Palermo. Attentive and professional staff. Excellent restaurant. Very good breakfast. The room is clean but a bit dark.
The staffs in breakfast restaurant were very rude with laughing. I was very disappointed the service and my parents were uncomfortable.
We enjoyed our stay. Our room was wonderful with plenty of space. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of breakfast and lunch-like options. I felt like the fruit juices were fresh-squeezed because they tasted slightly different each day. The common areas are carefully filled with tasteful historical photos with clever angles that made us want to go exploring. The hotel is a fantastic location with easy access to great restaurants and plenty of shopping. The staff was helpful.
The hotel is clean the room is maintained well the service was excellent breakfast was fresh and a very good variety I would recommend this place to all
Rooms were nice and hotel was clean overall. However, service was substandard and basic things like wifi aren’t really good. Wifi is very slow and almost not connectable. Reception staff not very friendly and breakfast is OK.
